Project Brief

Asian International School, one of the city’s premier educational institutions, is located in Dhulagarh, Howrah and is known for its modern infrastructure and facilities. ASAUDP was commissioned to redesign the Central Hall to function as a multipurpose space capable of accommodating students for various events throughout the year, while also serving as an indoor sports arena. The design approach respects the existing architectural character, with a focus on upgrading and reworking the service systems. New elements such as slatted features, WPC flooring, glass installations, and curved acoustic-panel signages have been introduced to enhance the hall’s acoustic performance while adding visual interest through vibrant accent colours.
