Project Brief
Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation Commercial Architectural Design Details and Philosophy: The Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation is located on an axis next to the freedom movement of Sri Lanka. The towers were conceptualized as a landmark for the city as a terminating to the axis as indicated in the diagram. The mixed-use character allowed for multiple users using several service cores. The character of the building had a local architectural style in the tower part with glass contemporary tones on the levels above the podium. This is a vertical mixed-use development of approximately 2 million square feet near Independence Square, Colombo. It is a signature project by the Government of Sri Lanka under the aegis of Sri Lanka Broadcast Corporation.
