Project Brief
OPUS Boutique Hotel Architectural Design and Planning: The project is a boutique hotel of 16 rooms, coffee shop, open terrace bar, and café. The site is located in a very prime and busy crossing of Kolkata. The context is the region of old Bhawanipore of Calcutta known for its iconic and rustic architectural style. Thus the idea was to create a very dynamic yet simplistic form, which happened through the organic curve moving along the intersection of the road. The services are designed keeping the dynamism of curve intact. The building is designed to look seamless while moving along the intersection so that from any point on the road the dynamism of the structure can be perceived.
